 Rhythmic Soles Dance Academy is a rapidly growing dance school located in Brooks, Alberta.  We are seeking a qualified dance instructor who wishes to contribute to the emerging dance community in a small city.  A strong background in Tap is required and any other disciplines would be an asset.  ADAPT certification is strongly preferred. Instructor should possess passion and enthusiasm for teaching pre-school as well as advanced students.

RSDA is an ADAPT and RAD certified school.  We strive to educate dancers through proper training, exams, performance opportunities, festivals and competitions.  We have a beautiful modern space with 2 large professional studios equipped with high quality dance floors and sound systems, with a third studio on its way.

Position to start September 2008.  Nine month teaching term with summer school options.  Wages negotiable.

 Dance Creations Performing Arts Theatre

Dance Creations, in Slave Lake Alberta is seeking the right person to join as a Dance Instructor for the 2008/2009 season beginning September 1, 2008.

You would be instructing: Preschool, Ballet, Modern and Jazz classes from beginner to advanced levels.  Teaching hours will be approximately 20-25 hours per week with the opportunity to gain additional hours by offering private lessons.  the exact classes and hours will be finalized based on the strengths of the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate for this position will have had 2-3 years teaching experience with experience and/or knowledge in:

Choreography for festivals and competitions.  Graduation from a recognized post-secondary teacher training program or equivalent would be an asset.

 Young, expanding studio, located in the Ottawa area is looking for a business partner / co-director position hopefully to be in place within the next two years.

Looking for long term (10 - 15 years) as we are hoping to expand even more over in the next few years.

ADAPT Certified strongly preferred but not required.

Our studio has built a strong base over the past few years with a certified staff as well as having a wonderful family oriented atmosphere.

Recreational & Competitive Programs as well as Examinations offered.

TEACHING POSITION

DANCER'S EDGE STUDIO in Blackfalds, Alberta is building a brand new studio for the 2008/2009 season, they have out-grown there old one.  With this new space and more students we are in need of some more instructors for the 2008/2009 season.  we are both a competitive and a non competitive studio, we have not done exams yet but definitely working our way there.

RAD teacher (or other form of ballet teacher), ADAPT Certified/Trained teacher, and an acro teacher are all required.  the ideal candidate should have teaching experience.  Instruction in all disciplines and ages are needed.
