Dance season 2001/2002 has been busy!
It has been a busy Fall with a full exam and workshop schedule! In addition Mr. Foley was Director and Choreographer for "Fame" which was put on for Rainbow Stage in Winnipeg. Brian will again be the principal Director and Choreographer for this summers Calgary Stampede show. Brian and Faye along with Debbie Noce and Janet Venn-Jackson will be completing the Spring examination schedule.
Summer Dance Explosion - Student Summer Workshops 2002
ADAPT will be holding 3 Student Workshops this summer. Locations and dates are:
|
|
|
|
| Okotoks Alberta | July 6 to 10 inclusive | ALBERTA DANCE ACADEMY |
| Toronto, Ontario | August 5 to 9 inclusive | SEAN BOUTILIER ACADEMY OF DANCE (Etobicoke) |
| Gatineau, Quebec | August 12 to 16 inclusive | ECOLE DE DANSE ANICK MCCONNELL |
These Workshops will be primarily for students but choreography classes will be of interest to teachers. There will also be an opportunity for some Syllabus review/questions. Note that the Okotoks Workshop will be held during the Calgary Stampede so any students or teachers coming from out of town should not delay making accommodation arrangements. Please post the enclosed "Dance Explosion" information sheet on your studio bulletin board. To register for one of these Workshops complete the enclosed Registration form and mail to Debbie Noce.
Teachers' Training Workshop Summer 2002
The two Teachers' Training Workshops held in Okotoks, Alberta and Woodbridge, Ontario last summer were a great success. Our plan had been to hold Teachers Training Workshops every other year but there have been a significant number of requests to hold one this year. Therefore a Teachers Training Workshop will be held this summer! This will be the first part of a 3 part course. See the enclosed "TEACHERS TRAINING SCHOOL" information sheet for details. Please register with Debbie Noce by June 29, 2002.
