ANOTHER DANCE YEAR COMPLETE!
What a phenomenal nine months of ADAPT exams and in-studio workshops Faye and I have had. We are sure everyone is now concentrating on the nerve racking "Year End Production". We wish everyone the best of luck for a successful 1999 show.

AUGUST SUMMER WORKSHOPS & TEACHERS’ COURSE
We have been working very hard to prepare for this summer’s Student Workshops and Teachers’ course. The NEW Intermediate and Advance syllabus is completed and we are extremely excited about presenting it to all the ADAPT teachers and assistant teachers. The revisions in the Intermediate & Advance Syllabus are going to make a new statement in dance across our country. There will also be demonstrations of quality routines to motivate teachers as to what we are looking for in the levels that routines are required. Don’t miss the new work!

CAN-DANCE FINALS
The 1999 Can-Dance National Finals will be held during the ADAPT Summer Workshop in the Leah Polsuns Theatre in the same performing arts complex as the Workshop. The dates for The 1999 Can-Dance Finals are July 21st to 23rd. Don't miss this opportunity to see the best in dance from across Canada. All happening at the ADAPT Summer Workshop.
NEW TAP COMPANY AND GROUP
Ryan Foley has just formed a new company called New Age Sound. As part of the Company he has pulled together a group of nine of Canada's best tap dancers. They will be performing over the summer at numerous events including the Can-Dance Nationals. The group will be known as "Canadian Tap Crew" The members are: Nicole Thomas, Ashley Noce, Natasha Gibson, Linda Garno, Melissa Crocker, Mario Castillo, Devon Perry, Shawn Byfield & Ryan Foley. ADAPT wishes New Age Sound and the "Canadian Tap Crew" the best of luck in the future.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that all registered students participate in the "Stretch class" in order to adequately warm up for the dance classes.
FAMILY DISCOUNT
If a 2nd child from the same family registers they will receive a 10% discount from the lower fee. A 3rd child will receive a 20% discount of the lowest fee.
TEACHER'S COURSE
Full 3 days:?$400.00
If a teacher is registered for the Full Teachers’ Course they may attend the Student Workshop classes for $25.00 per day or $100.00 for all of the first 4 days. Therefore the Full Teachers’ Course with the 4 days of Student Workshop classes is $500.00. Teachers attending only the Student Workshop classes pay $90.00 per day or $400.00 for all 5 days. Teachers taking just Tap or Jazz pay 1/2 the fee.
Any ADAPT teacher may pay a $150.00 deposit and the balance by post dated cheque dated September 15, 1999.
REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE NOW JUNE 30, 1999
Any student or teacher registering after June 30, 1999 must pay a 10% late registration fee.
Any student or teacher withdrawing or cancelling after registering will have a $50.00 "cancellation fee" deducted from their refund.

TEACHER’S COURSE FEES
Another bonus ADAPT is offering teachers. If a teacher has $2,500.00 or more in student registrations, that teacher may attend the teachers course and student classes for half price. If a teacher has over $5,000.00 in student registration fees that teacher may attend teachers course and student classes free of charge.

1999/2000 EXAM schedule
A reminder regarding exams from Gail. The ADAPT examiners travel from B.C. to N.S. so please book your exam dates and /or in-studio workshop for 1999/2000 as soon as possible.
