ADAPT Post Secondary Auditions

Associated Dance Arts For Professional Teachers (ADAPT) is a Dance Syllabus created over 45 years ago by Brian and Faye Foley. Now under the new direction of Ryan and Andrea Foley, expanding and broadening the opportunities for the ADAPT exam candidates and helping them move forward for their future education and professional development is number one.

Offering dance examinations to over 7000 dancers per year around the world, Adapt is growing! Adapt also offers teacher’s certification, pre professional development, external high school credit opportunity and now our newest adventure, Post Secondary Auditions.

Our first Post Secondary Audition will be held October 29th 2023 in Toronto Ontario Canada with the intention to also run a second audition in the spring out west (Alberta) This is the first time this opportunity has been offered through any dance syllabus organization in Canada or across North America.

The audition day will be a 6 hour audition process showcasing Ballet – Pointe – contemporary – tap and jazz discipline’s along with a panel discussion with attending universities during the lunch break and ample time for all the schools to chat with the dancers and parents after the audition classes are over.

We want to make this one of the elite recruitment opportunities in Canada. One that universities all over the world want to attend and be apart of.
