Ann Holtz
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ann Holtz has been deeply involved in the realm of dance and entertainment business for over 40 years. She owned and operated one of Ottawa’s most reputable dance institutions “Holtz Studio of Dance”. She has produced and directed dance routines for banquets, conventions, fashion and industrial shows with companies like GM Canada, Merck Frosst Company, The Hudson Bay, Northern Telecom, Paul Mitchell International, The United Way to name a few.
Mrs. Holtz has been a guest teacher for the Ottawa and Separate Schools Boards, Canterbury Arts School and Canadore College in North Bay. She has adjudicated for many dance and talent competitions in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Memphis Tennessee such as Can Dance, American Dance Awards, Terpsichore, Kiwanis Dance Festivals, Star Search USA and Star Talent. Mrs. Holtz has choreographed for local theater companies over the years for Annie, No No Nanette, Applause, HMS Pinafore and Trial By Jury. She was coach/choreographer for the CFL Ottawa Rough Rider Dance and Cheer Squad. She continues to inspire and educate students in the Ottawa area and is honoured to be part of the Adapt family.
