Barb Jackman
Barb has been involved in dance all of her life has been teaching dancing for over 30 years. Barb was part of the first graduating class of the ADAPT – 3 year, Teachers Training Program (TTS) in Tap & Jazz as well is an Accredited Exam studio of ADAPT. She is Owner / Director / Instructor – Dance Images by BJ, ADAPT Examiner – Tap & Jazz, Co Teacher of the ADAPT Assistant Teacher program held in Toronto at TTS, Member / Life Member of the CDTA Sask Branch – Stage Division – Tap & Jazz and 2015 Woman’s Business Prism Award Winner in the field of Culture.
Barb continues to study dance throughout the Province, Canada and the US in such cities as New York, Boston, Toronto, Salt Lake City, Kansas and Los Angela’s. She teaches workshops throughout the province, regularly adjudicates dance competitions as well as is co–director of the Invitational Dance Carnival that has run for over 30 years. Dancers from her studio have gone onto successful professional careers including Professional Performers in the “Magic Of The Dance, 42nd Street, Hart Pulse Dance in LA, Young Canadian Dancers , holiday resorts and more. Her love of dance has been instilled in her students and many have followed in her footsteps and become successful Dance Instructors.
Barb loves what she does and feels that “One Never Stops Learning” She is committed to provide the best possible dance education and motivation to all of her students, staff and anyone who dance paths she has the privilege to cross. Dance is so universal…. it teaches us so many life long skills and she could not imagine her life without dance being a part of it
