Candace Jennings
Candace has had the pleasure of working on the National Ballet of Canada’s Production of “ Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” for the past 4 Seasons.
Candace choreographed the Premiere of “Ragtime the Musical” in London England’s West End which was nominated for 8 Olivier Awards. She was also nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore award for outstanding Choreography for her work on Soulpepper Theatre’s “Oh What A Lovely War” and nominated for an IRNE Best Choreography Award in Boston for “Ragtime The Musical”.
For seven years Candace toured Canada and the United States as the Resident Director of “JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT” starring Donny Osmond. She was also Associate Resident Director of “SUNSET BLVD.” starring Diahann Carol. Candace had the pleasure of working on the First National Tour of the award winning musical “RAGTIME” directed by Frank Galati and choreographed by Graciela Daniele. Candace trained extensively in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Musical Theatre. She completed her dance training in New York City and began her professional career where she has enjoyed much success. Some of the highlights of her film, television and theatre work include: “ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING” with Elisabeth Shue, “THE MISS PIGGY SHOW” with Jim Henson, “FRIDAY THE 13th” the series, “STEPPING OUT” with Liza Minelli, and “THE LIBERACE SHOW” in Las Vegas.
